- On August 1, 2024, around 1:00 p.m., artillery fire from the regime’s forces struck the village of Aung Chan Thar in Mottaya Township. This attack resulted in injuries to five innocent civilians and the deaths of three others.
- Aung Chan Thar village is a remote area far from current battle zones. This attack represents a deliberate act of targeting non-military civilians, reflecting the regime’s ongoing commitment to committing war crimes.
