- On July 17, 2024, the People’s Defense Force (Mandalay) successfully captured and secured all military positions and the city of Singu in Singu District.
- Singu District is now a region free from military control, and the city of Singu has become the first city within Mandalay Region to be fully captured by the People’s Defense Force (Mandalay), marking a historic achievement.
- During the Singu operations, a significant number of weapons and military supplies were seized, and many enemy troops were captured.
- The People’s Defense Force (Mandalay) acknowledges the significant contributions and sacrifices of its forces during the Singu campaign and pays tribute to the fallen heroes.
- Continuous airstrikes by the military during the Singu operations have resulted in damage to urban areas and civilian residences.
