- The People’s Defense Force (Mandalay) and allied forces led by the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) successfully captured the city of Mongmit on July 31, 2024.
- During the operations in Mongmit, the drone units of the People’s Defense Force (Mandalay) effectively coordinated with allied forces to conduct the military campaign.
- Mongmit is now the fourth city captured by the People’s Defense Force (Mandalay) in its ongoing military operations.
