- The People’s Defense Force (Mandalay) successfully captured and took over the military council outpost located in Kwin (500) in Thapyaykyin Township on August 25, 2024.
- The military council outpost in Kwin (500), commanded by Major General Soe Kyaw Htike, with approximately 400 troops, was engaged in intense fighting with the People’s Defense Force (Mandalay) starting from August 5, 2024. The battle continued intensely for about 20 days.
- A large number of enemy weapons and ammunition were seized from the Kwin (500) outpost, and several important figures were captured.
- There were casualties on both sides during the battles at the Kwin (500) outpost, including among the People’s Defense Force (Mandalay) and allied forces.
- It has been reported that all military council outposts, including the strategic outposts between Moekok and the Singu Road area, have been cleared.
